Patric Schneider is a Houston based photojournalist who has created visually compelling images since his days at Texas A&M University.

Upon graduating in 2002, Schneider began his career at the Bryan/College Station Eagle.  He covered Texas A&M University news, sports and was exclusively assigned to Grimes County to help cover the growing communities around Bryan/College Station. In 2005, Schneider left The Eagle and became the photo editor at the Williamson County Sun.  He would maintain a photo staff covering local news and sports.  In 2007, Schneider moved to Houston and became photo editor of the Houston Community Newspapers.  The papers consisted of 33 weeklies and two dailies in the surrounding Houston area.  Schneider would help coordinate news coverage including Hurricane Ike in September of 2008, and also covered the NCAA Final Four basketball tournament in 2011.   One of his most treasured assignments was when he was assigned to cover the 2010 Pearland team in the Little League World Series in Williamsport Pennsylvania.  He spent over two weeks getting in depth coverage of the team that loved to play baseball.

In 2012, he left Houston Community Newspapers to start his own freelance photography business where his work was seen daily in the Houston Chronicle.  Schneider also began to freelance regularly for the Associated Press covering pro sports and news.  In 2014, Schneider was assigned to cover Super Bowl XLVIII at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey.  He would also get a chance to cover Super Bowl LI in his hometown of Houston in 2017.

Schneider continues to work in his freelance business shooting everything from editorial and sports to family/senior photos and weddings.  Throughout the years, his work has appeared in Sports Illustrated, New York Times, Washington Post, and numerous national publications.  He continues to work with the same passion on assignments just as he did when he began his career at Texas A&M.
